We’re pleased to announce the appointment of our new Head Chef Lee Burden. Joining us from The Chesil Rectory restaurant Winchester, Lee was also previously Head Chef at The Three Tuns, Romsey where he helped the restaurant achieve double AA Rosette status.
Lee’s created a new modern British menu for Gatehouse 1833, using local ingredients where possible to create cooking bursting with flavour. Highlights from the menu include Cauliflower velouté, Romsey chalk stream trout and vegetarian options such as New Forest Wild mushroom risotto.
